The Flying Letter
Madeline L
Castel School
Dear Diary and Dear Reader,
Firstly, a cat was pouncing on a letter. The cat brought the letter to the park. The prince threw the letter across the park. He thought it was his white boomerang. The prince was staring off into the distance, waiting for it to come back. The letter landed on Castel School. It went straight through a cooking lesson and almost got fried!
It flew out of the chimney and across five fields until it finally landed in a bin. A fox got the letter and was going to take a bite out of it when a purple lady fox tried to tug the letter out of his paws. There was a strong gust of wind, and the letter took off again. It was almost like it was alive!
It passed over many houses and then again, finally came to land, but this time, on a golf ball. It almost got flattened by the fastness of the ball. But another strong gust of wind blew again and the letter took off. The letter got tangled with some underpants and flew them across the town! The pants fell onto a man about to kiss his wife.
Another strong gust of wind blew, and it took off again. This time to a bonfire. It nearly missed the fireworks! But all the colour exploded onto the letter, so it wasn’t white anymore.
You can guess what happens now. A strong gust of wind blew, and the letter took off again and this time landed on a princess’s dinner plate. Nobody noticed the letter, so she just ate it right up!
