Letter

On a rainy Sunday afternoon, Blaze was watching television. He had nothing to do except explore the dusty, mouldy attic where forgotten memories lay. Blaze looked through every corner of the attic and, strangely, he spotted a small opening behind some crates. He pushed the crates with all his might and wriggled into the hole. Inside the hole was a yellowed, old letter with a red stamp.

At first, it seemed the letter was just a bunch of numbers on paper with commas, but once he saw the television again, he realised they were something special. Instantly, he went on his bike until he reached a field. He saw another letter and it said the following.

Dear Blaze, somewhere hidden underneath the soil of this field is a portal that teleports you to other PLANETS! But don't worry, you wil be given a spacesuit. The only problem is that you must reassemble it! It may seem hard, but on the back of this, there are some instructions.

But by then, it was evening, so he gobbled his tea like a mad hatter, grabbed a screwdriver, a shovel, a sleeping bag and some screws. He said to his parents “Can I sleep with my friend?” They put their thumbs up.

That night, he went back and shovelled for hours until he heard a THUNK! He had hit metal! From then on, it was quick, digging up piece after piece, until he had dug all the portal! By then, the sun had started to rise, so he committed to screw in screw after screw until it was done. He turned it on and a rippling purply vortex appeared. With his heart pounding, he was swallowed in. Behind him was Saturn! He truly was among the stars!
