The Cupcake Party

Harry Le Page
Year 6 Le Rondin School

It was the day of Cupcake’s 11th birthday party. The smoke from the BBQ was spreading all over the garden. There were pretty lights along the fence. People were grooving to country music playing on a CD player. Children were splashing in a paddling pool. People were laughing and chatting when the burgers were cooking. Cereal was eating a big juicy hot dog and Kiwi was drinking cold Dr Pepper straight from the fridge.

Suddenly Bad banana broke into the garden and trashed the decorations. He went out and tipped the BBQ. He sprayed the food with dirt, then Mum came out with the cookies. Mum saw the site. Cupcake and his friends ran around in a panic. Mum put a cheeseburger on a table by the gate so Bad Banana would be trapped. Mum hid under the table and grabbed Bad Banana while he was eating. Mum pulled him out by his legs and pushed him down the hill. Mum shouted “Get peeled!” while Bad Banana was rolling over and over down the hill. Cupcake and his friends tidied everything up and carried on with their BBQ.
