Stormy Day
Fletch O’Hara
Year 4 Forest
Once upon a time Miss Domaille, Nix, Rosalie and Ailsa went to the beach. The sand was golden, the sea was sparkling blue and they could hear birds squawking. The seaweed was stinky. They all went paddling in the sea. The sea was cold.
All of a sudden the clouds turned dark blue, thunder made a loud bang. A storm was coming and lots of rain was pouring. They ran to hide under covers, when they were hiding they fell fast asleep. The storm stopped and it was sunny again, the sunshine woke them up.
The storm had washed lots of big crabs on the beach, they needed to be rescued! Miss Domaille, Nix, Rosalie and Ailsa worked together to get the crabs back in the sea. They filled up their beach buckets with water and put the crabs inside. Rosalie dropped her bucket, one of the crabs pinched her stinky toe, it really hurt her toe. Ailsa helped her catch the crab and put it back in the sea. It took a long time to rescue all the crabs, they were running around everywhere.
After a long time they rescued all the crabs. They were all so happy they had rescued the crabs. The girls were feeling so tired from doing all that work. They were also feeling so hungry for sausage and chips. Rosalie and Ailsa said “let’s go to our friend
Fletch’s house for tea.” They went to Fletch’s house and had tasty sausage and chips. It was a good day, they all went home.
