The Ferocious Tiger

Year 3 Notre Dame School
Deep in the mystical jungle there lived a bold, brave tiger named Scar. His soft fur was shiny and healthy, but his eyes were as black as night and his claws were as sharp as knives.
Scar was out hunting deep in the thick jungle when suddenly he heard a strange noise he hadn't heard before. He went closer to investigate, very calmly and quietly. Scar could feel his heart pounding in his deep chest as he got closer and closer to the noises. He came across two men chatting holding long saws in their hands. They were pointing to the large, healthy trees around them. The tiger thought they were admiring the trees but suddenly they were using their saws to cut into them. Scar was shocked and angry!
Scar crept closer to the men, disguised by the wavy grass around him. His heart was beating faster now. He waited until the exact moment to pounce. Before the men were able to cut into the tree too deeply, he raced forward and jumped out behind them and roared his biggest roar!
The men were scared and shocked! They dropped their saws and ran towards their truck as quickly as they could. Scar galloped after them roaring ferociously, but decided to stop and let them drive away. He had frightened them enough to never come back to his jungle again.
The tiger strolled back through the dark jungle, the light was fading now. He returned to his den feeling tired. He looked up in wonder at the beautiful trees around him, happy that he had managed to save the trees today.
